ACI helps people to discover their leadership, identify unique gifts, values and vision. ACI believes leadership is:

• A choice: Each person can lead or choose not to lead. ACI helps people see that they are “at choice” now. 

• Unique to each individual: Leadership choices vary; there are no "wrong" leadership styles.

• Authentic: Being courageous and authentic can be risky, but that’s part of the process of discovering one’s leadership.

• Driven by values: People in touch with their values are grounded and understand what motivates them.

• Visionary: Leaders see where they are going--and beyond that--and are committed to what they are creating within their value systems.

• Compassionate:  Communicating willingly and honestly with all kinds of people and yes, caring and compassion are crucial to discovering one’s leadership.

• Evocative of others’ gifts: Real leaders evoke respect by honoring others, seek and provide honest feedback, and acknowledge the gifts and lives of others.

• Imperfect/Messy: Leaders dig in and assess what’s working and what’s not, admit both success and failure; they want the best for themselves and others. They are masters at “recovery” and reflection, and can pull learning from any situation.

• Passionate: Leading from a place of vision, values and belief creates passion and conviction that naturally attracts people to them.
